1. We saw a leather wallet. The color is khaki. And there are some coins in it.

2. A wood ruler. It is very common in the family; we can use it to measure distance.

3. Dark blanket. It has a good-look. We can see a lot of animal pictures on it.

4. Three chestnuts. There are three dark blue chestnuts, all of them have different look.

5. A Spanish farm. It is a special one for most of us, because it shows a good look to us. It shows the traditional Spanish farm and culture totally.

6. Chinese sample. It is made of Mable. Besides, at the bottle of this sample, there is two words written on the bottom.

7. A small spot. It is from Gonzo Island. It looks amazing, the color is combined green and white, and the material of the small spot is cream. But we don't know the function of this spot.

8. A collection of coins. This is from Singapore. On the cover, we can see "The year of the dog". They have different value, and they also have different size. The cover

9. American canoe. This is a Native American canoe, whose color is khaki. And it is made of tree barks.

10. A sculpture of a Africa woman. It is black, and the woman on it shows us the native Africa customer, which looks very nice.

11. A carving of a man. This man shows Peru's customer. As we can see, he is hitting the drum.

12. A carving of a head. I guess it is a woman's head, she has a good-looking. And she looks very nice.

13. A colorful plate. It is painted by different color, and we can use it when we have meals.

 

who I am

  My name is xianping, I am from China.  I finished one year in china,and then I transferred to SCSU.This is the second semester for me in SCSU. I can remember the situations when I just came here for a few days. New environment, new teachers , and no family members. However, I met a very very amazing person, whose name is Jesus. He changed my life definitely. I met a lot of people who have the same belief with me on campus. We have parties very often , and we also have the bible study. We can talk anything what we like, and we can also share ideas when we have problems. They make me feel at home. This summer, instead of going back to my country, I chose to stay here and took one summer class. . I think I was a lucky girl all the time. I met a very good professor, he helped a lot, especially when I didn’t get a satisfied with my homework. Day by day, I made a big progress in my class. The most excited thing is that I got a very higher score for my final.

  Everything goes well in America, and I like everything here. Although I knew it will be a big challenge when I chose nursing major. I think I can do it if I can keep hard-working. My dream is to be an excellent nurse in the future. I want to try my best to help more people when they need me.
